2022

Through technology and innovation, we aim to continue challenging ourselves in our mission to simplify people’s lives.

Our Nasdaq listing in June 2022 is an important step in our journey, as it will allow us to show to the international investment world what we have built and the impact we produce in people’s lives.

Our world-class Super App, our strong balance sheet, and above all, our team of +4,000 “sangue laranja” dreamers are the key elements that will make Inter succeed in the years to come.

1994 to 2014

We were founded in 1994 as Intermedium Financeira in Belo Horizonte, MG, with the title of financial institution and belonging to the economic group of MRV Engenharia S.A.

In 1999 we started our SME loans operations and in 2001 our operations with payroll loans.

Since 2002 we ceased to be part of MRV Engenharia S.A’s economic group.

In 2007 we began our operations with mortgage and home equity loans.

In 2008 we had our first milestone. We were granted, by the Central Bank of Brazil, a banking license. Thus, we began to perform as: commercial bank (operations for companies), financing (payroll loan for individuals), investments and real estate credit (loan and real estate financing for individuals and legal entities).

In 2012 we started the Inter Group with Banco Inter and Inter Seguros. Through the broker we offer a broad insurance portfolio to our clients.

The following year, in 2013, Inter DTVM became part of the Inter Group. Our distributor was authorized by the Central Bank of Brazil and licensed by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) to operate in different branches and is also adherent to the ANBIMA Code of Regulation and Best Practices of Investment Funds.

Over 20 years, we have grown and had countless achievements under the name Intermedium. In this trajectory, we changed a lot: from financial to bank, from regional to national, from credit to multiple services.
